Your work as a true Business Partner will involve succession planning, performance management, and compliance training, while helping to implement Company initiatives within the business.
Through this strategic involvement, you truly will be a partner to the success of the Engineering and Product Development group throughout Washington.
You'll also provide advice and coaching to management and non- management staff in Employee Relations-related activity.
Your work will involve working closely with the Legal Department to respond to federal, state and local agencies and conducting field site visits to conduct employee focus groups.
Most importantly, you will work with your Engineering and Product Development management to ensure a positive employee environment, where both one-on-one coaching and team cooperation leads to business success.
Responsibilities:
We're looking for at least six- eight years of generalist experience that has included consulting with all levels of management, along with work involving federal / state / local agencies.
We would like to see experience working strategically as a HR Business Partner, and want to see significant ER experience in areas such as corrective action coaching and counseling, harassment and discrimination investigations, and promoting a positive work environment.
Candidates with additional HR work experience in organizational development and training and/or HRIS will be favored.
A Bachelor's in a business- related field is preferred and a Master's Degree in HR would be considered a plus.
